Why did Weiner resign when he did nothing illegal, but Sen David Vitter did not resign for committing a crime?

Because the GOP holds itself to a much different standard than the Dems, and because Dems don't stand by oneanother. Wiener was a strong progressive; just the type Breitbart wants to career-assassinate.
