If science can give us what we need, then why do we need a god?

I mean...it's been science that's created everything we use, well...nearly everything besides natural plants and people and what not. But I mean for providing for ourselves with science, we can do that now, I don't understand this god concept, science can cure you much faster and more efficiently through medicine, also easy pain. It can also theorize and create technology for disabled people like the deaf and blind and mute. Science seems to have revealed more to us than this god concept non-sense, don't you agree? It is man's desire to advance more in science, we yearn for it.
