A rash that wont go away? Please help!?

I have had a rash for 4 weeks, It started on my hands like little bug bites or blisters and spread to my whole body. I thought it was poison ivy and was treated as such with a topical steroid. Didn't go away, so they gave me predisone(sp?) did that.. rash went away for like a day and came back with a vengenice. My boyfriend has it to but i have it the worst. We have already ruled out bed bugs and scabbies.(sp?) He washes his own cloths so i doubt it detergent. I have state insurance so I cant see a dermetologist and every time i see the doctor they say its contact dermatitis and to ride it out. Its been a month, I am suffering with the itchyness, i cant really take anything because I am breastfeeding. Some of the areas look like pimples, other just blotchy patches, others like poison ivy!! Any ideas? I figured if i could get some different ideas i could start researching them and start ruling things out! Thanks!!
