Does anyone else think people are taking Weiner too seriously?

Ok wtf for the past few weeks or so the media like CNN and Yahoo has been covering this Weiner scandal like it dropped a big bomb. People make mistakes like these all the time, and he didn't really hurt anybody. Wtf? There are worse crimes people done on Wall Street but that's not covered. It's the media, though right? Mind me, if this question gets deleted because I just said that. Anyway, are people just idiots in the media or are they f*cking around with us and hiding the real information that's more important? "War on Libya" coverage, if you guys havn't noticed, suddenly stopped being the headlines. Other minor (some important like the disasters in the South) have been covered in the process. Seriously, i can't believe this crap...this thing about weiner has been taken too seriously i think its a big joke to me lol.
